The John Dillinger Museum, located inside the Indiana Welcome Center, will be participating in Smithsonian magazine’s ninth annual Museum Day Live! event. Free admission will be offered to visitors with a Museum Day Live! ticket on Saturday, Sept. 28.
The Munster Theatre Company of Munster High School is pleased to present its first production of the season, with the comedy, Dr Evil and the Basket of Kittens by Brian D Taylor. Produced by Larry & Carol Lynn Brechner, this full-length, student directed production will feature Munster High School senior, Daniel Straka and junior Haley Kwasniewski as co-directors, with Rohan Chatterjee as Assistant Director. The Novice production features the talents of about twenty new freshman and sophomore actors (or juniors or seniors who have never been on stage before).

The streets of Downtown Chesterton will be alive with color on Saturday, September 28, as International Street Painter Jennifer Chaparro will be hitting the road (literally) for Frontline’s annual Hooked on Art – Live Street Art Festival. Her goal? To create an eye-popping 15x25 optical illusion using only chalk as medium.
Activities kick off Monday (Sept. 23) and conclude with the Homecoming football game against the University of Northern Illinois at noon on Sept. 28.
