The results are in from the Seat Belt Usage by Commercial Motor Vehicle Drivers (SBUCMVD) Survey from 2016. The survey showed that the overall safety belt usage for drivers of all medium and heavy duty trucks and buses was up to 86% in 2016 from 84% in 2013. The survey is a nationally representative field data collection program that provides estimates of safety belt usage by drivers of medium and heavy duty commercial motor vehicles.
